Artist Statement: The quote, "If I can't dance, I don't want to be a part of your revolution" by Emma Goldman is a source of inspiration for this work. It explores the celebratory dimensions as change agents. this work commemorates some of the organizers and activists who came before us and share the vision of "Si se puede" This quote by Dolores Huerta was adopted by President Obama for his campaign as "Yes we can". Names of those who continue the work and allies are also recognized on this work, including the President who began his career as a community organizer.

History: This work is published in the two books as part of a collection and traveling exhibit throughout the U.S.. during the Presidents first term and reelection.
