Statement:

For generations ravens have been a symbol of the people, connecting the material world with the world of spirits. Ravens are our sightseers with rainbow-like shimmering wings. In this work the raven reveals her connection to the earth. She is deeply rooted as are the people of New Mexico and their connection to the land.
